Accommodating Employees with Disabilities
Though the “duty to accommodate” has been recognized for over two decades, it continues to pose significant challenges to employers. Accommodation, or accessibility, is defined as a modification to a job or work environment that will enable a qualified person with a disability to perform required functions.
IAM has helped a number of employers meet this challenge. We will:
Assess the accommodations needed – and those that are not needed!
Assess your web sites, internal and public for accessibility standards
Procure appropriate equipment and software
Provide on-going support and technical service
